Sheep theft – New England Police District
The Rural Crime Prevention Team are currently investigating the theft of 100 Merino Ewes from the Balfours Peak area, east of Warialda. They were stolen in two separate lots with the first being around March/April 2021, and the second in July 2021.
The missing sheep are approximately 4-5 years old and have a black or white PIC (Property Identification Code) tag in their right ear.

Poddy Calves Missing from Property at Halls Creek – Oxley Police District
Rural Crime Investigators from Tamworth Police Station are investigating after a landholder reported 2 poddy calves missing from his herd on the Wittagooa Road, Halls Creek.
The animals are described as being 2 Shorthorn Simmental poddy calves and they are not marked.
The owner believes the calves went missing after cattle broke through a fence on the 21st of July this year.

Diesel Theft at Pindaroi – New England Police District
Police from Inverell are asking for assistance in relation to the theft of 1000 litres of diesel fuel that was stolen from a property on the Nullamanna Road at Pindaroi.
The owner believes the fuel was taken from a tank on the property sometime between the 14th and 27th of July this year.

Merino Ewes Missing from Property at Rob Roy – New England Police District
Police from Inverell are investigating after the owner discovered 19 sheep missing from his property on the Glenburnie Road, Rob Roy.
The sheep are described as being 11-month-old Dorset cross Merino ewes, tagged with NLIS tags, number N1592153 and the owner believes they were stolen, sometime between the 15th and 27th of June this year.
