Slow Cooked Shredded Beef Sliders otherwise known as Pulled Beef Sliders ( 9 serves)

In the mood for a barbecue but don’t want to heat up the plate? These Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Sliders with an easy homemade barbecue sauce and coleslaw will do the trick!

Perfect for football grandfinals!!


Who doesn’t need a recipe like this for those quick, fuss free and serve yourself gatherings on weekends in Spring time?

They are always a hit for any get togethers so try them out this weekend.

Copy this one away into your keep sake folder for feeding the troops. Now, remember sliders are only little buns, so double up if you’ve got a few visitors

300g Beef short ribs

50ml Tomato sauce

50ml BBQ sauce

1tsp Worcestershire sauced

2 tspn ground chilli powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tspn Garlic powder

½ tspn Onion powder

½ tsnp Salt

9 Slider Buns

Tomato relish

Mixed lettuce leaves


¼ Cabbage, shredded

1 large carrot, peeled and grated

½ cup mayonnaise.


Add the beef to the slow cooker. In a large bowl whisk together tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chilli powder, paprika, onion powder and salt

Pour the sauce over the & evenly spread with a spoon, ensuring the beef is full covered

Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours  or low for 8 hours, or on low for 8 to 10 hours. Until beef easily pulls apar twith a fork

To make the coleslaw, combine cabbage carrot and mayonnaise in a medium bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving

Shred the beef with two forks and stir together with the sauce in the slow cooker. Remove and cool for 15-30 minutes.

Serve on slider buns with coleslaw, tomato relish and mixed lettuce leaves.

Remeber: It’s only a small batch recipe so if you’ve got company double up!
